Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted people partner, providing both strategic and operational HR support to stakeholders and employees. You will play a crucial role in aligning HR practices with business objectives, driving operational performance, and fostering a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Partnership: Collaborate with your stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational goals.

Employee Relations: Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to ensure a fair and consistent resolution.

Performance Management: Working with operational colleagues to support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback and development plans. 

Talent Management: Promote talent, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce, working in collaboration with the wider HR team.

Coaching: Coach management teams to raise capability in managing people issues and act as a mentor for a HR Advisor.   


The ideal candidate will be a CIPD qualified HR professional, preferably with similar experience in a business partnering role who has worked within a fast paced, multi-sited customer focused organisation. You will be commercially focused and adaptable to change, and be able to work autonomously but also as part of a team. With a good sense of humour, you will have the ability to build relationships at all levels based on trust and respect, and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to articulate best practice HR in a practical manner and will work collaboratively with your HR colleagues to co-create solutions that meet the needs of our business.
