Job description
ATS Euromaster in POS is hiring an Assistant Manager to join our customer-focused team. This 40 hour per week role (No Sunday shifts!) is the second-in-command leadership position, focused on maintaining excellent customer service and maximizing sales/KPI achievement. You will support the Centre Operations Manager by driving POS development, requiring a leader with a high level of technical skill coupled with essential management qualities.
The Role:
Join our team as an Assistant Manager and help our team to deliver our essential fast-fit services.
Responsibilities will include:
Perform required technical aspects, including the professional fitment of car and van tyres, battery fitment, brake servicing, steering & suspension, vehicle servicing, and diagnostics.
Oversee day-to-day operations and manage the centre in the Centre Manager's absence, ensuring safe and efficient technician workflow.
Act as the primary representative for the POS, ensuring all team members consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Provide guidance, support, and demonstrate knowledge of our products and services to customers.
Strictly adhere to and enforce all Health & Safety procedures and 'life saving rules', ensuring compliance in the workshop.
Ensure the workshop is kept tidy, clean, and organised.
Assist with office and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements as an Assistant Manager:
A Full UK Driving Licence.
A minimum of two years' hands-on experience working with vehicles.
Supervisor or proven managerial experience in a similar industry.
Strong customer service and IT abilities, including a basic working knowledge of Microsoft, Google, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
An industry-recognised qualification (such as IMI Level 1 or above, or Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) is (Desirable).
